Komet USA has launched new one-step polishers for the final polishing of composites and ceramics.
The light-yellow polishers, which feature a silicone bond for providing flexibility and conformation to tooth anatomy, are available in flame-shaped (long and short), cup-shaped, and wheel-shaped versions and are color-coded with a white ring according to diamond grit (ultrafine) for ease of identification.
Polishers also include ultrafine-grit diamond particles for delivery of a high-shine polish on composite materials in a single step, following the thorough finishing of restoration surfaces, according to DentistryIQ.
Offered in packages containing five instruments of a single configuration, one-step polishers can be sterilized in an autoclave and resist degradation and deformation.
