The commercial vehicles sales of the first half year has been released at present. The light truck market continued to go down with the influence of economy stagflation and emission standard upgrading. However, JAC light truck had a good performance in the first half year with sales of over 110 thousand units, up by 16% year on year.
In the first half year, JAC Shuangling series and Junling series have been totally delivered 63 thousand units as well as high-end light truck FOTON AUMARK, Aoling and JMC had good sales of 102 thousand units. In the high-end light truck market, JAC light truck has been in leading position.
Recently, with the increasingly emission standard upgrading, JAC Shuangling, Junling and Kangling production strength and brand power continuously improved, and it has become increasingly difficult to adapt to the change of the environment by relying on the price to locate the market segmentation. Under this background, JAC made strategic changes to the brand systems. Among them, JAC Shuangling focuses on city logistic transportation, Junling is mainly toward inter-city and road transportation while Kangling keeps eyes on suburb and region transportation. The strategies opened upgrading space of the brands power and stimulated brands competition vitality.
JAC Shuangling sales increased by 9% year on year and took over 20% of market shares which ranked No.1 on the monthly sales. As well as Junling and Kangling, they all had good performance in related segment markets, and the latter has grown up to the most dynamic brand.
