China’s leading high-power LED manufacturer Refond Optoelectronics has released 2012 performance forecast that said it has achieved a net profit margin of RMB 45-51m, up by 35-53% than last year, among which Q4 has accounted for RMB 8.79-14.79m, up by 63-174% than 2011Q4 but lower than 2012Q2 and Q3 mainly due to the over RMB 2m stock incentive compensation fees that have been included in Q4; if this factor is excluded, 2012Q4’s performance is nearly equal to 2012Q2 and slightly worse than 2012Q3.
As capacity unleashes in Ningbo and Shanghai factories in the first and second half of this year successively, Refond Optoelectronics’s capacity will reach 600-800k, which may translate into a double increase on a monthly average capacity. On a conservative prediction, 2013 revenue will grow at about 50%.
